**SAUNA WAIVER & HEALTH DECLARATION – THE RESTFUL SAUNA**
> By booking and attending a session with The Restful Sauna, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
**1. General Health Acknowledgement**
Sauna use and cold water immersion involve exposure to high heat and cold temperatures, which may place stress on the body. I understand that participation is undertaken entirely at my own risk.
I confirm that I am in good physical condition and able to use a sauna safely.
**2. Contraindications**
I understand that sauna use may not be suitable if I have any of the following conditions:
* Heart conditions or cardiovascular disease
* High or low blood pressure
* Respiratory conditions (including severe asthma)
* Pregnancy
* Epilepsy or history of seizures
* Diabetes (unless well managed and monitored)
* Skin conditions aggravated by heat
* Any condition affected by heat exposure
I confirm that I will seek medical advice if I am unsure.
**3. Alcohol & Substances**
I confirm that I will not use the sauna under the influence of alcohol or drugs and are strictly prohibited before and during sauna use.
**4. Personal Responsibility**
I understand that I am responsible for monitoring and listening to my own body during the session and will leave the sauna immediately if I feel unwell, dizzy, lightheaded or uncomfortable.
**5. Hydration**
I understand the importance of hydration and will ensure I am adequately hydrated before and after my session.
**6. I agree to follow all on-site guidance and safety instructions, including recommended time limits and safe use of sauna and cold water immersion.
**7. Liability Waiver**
I acknowledge that I use the sauna at my own risk. The Restful Sauna and its operator accept no liability for injury, illness, loss or damage sustained during your visit, or adverse effects arising from use of the sauna, except where caused by provenegligence.
**7. Agreement**
By booking and attending, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to this waiver.
